On-Line Data Entry The Videojet Focus 1000 features "Scalable Fonts" that allow character height and character width to be adjusted at full production speeds ("on-the-fly"), reducing changeover time and increasing throughput. This includes characters printed with continuous line segments or dot-matrix type characters. The font sizes are scalable from 1/10" to the full size of scan window (2-1/2" square print window). Increase Throughput, Decrease Downtime. No PC Required The user interface of the Videojet Focus laser coding system is a hand-held terminal with an alpha-numeric keypad and a 4x20 character dot matrix display. The additional cost and increased footprint of a PC and accessories is not required. In fact, the hand-held terminal can be used to set up the message, put the unit into print mode, and then it can be completely removed from the unit. The unit will continue to mark each product until the stop switch is manually activated. The option to disconnect the hand-held terminal ensures that the code cannot be accidentally, or intentionally, changed without proper authority. Flexible, Continuous Coding. |
